The Boss Author: Ellie Isaacson Release: June 23, 2020 Rating: ★★★★★ Review: I loved this book. The author had me hooked from the very beginning. The development of the story was amazing and it made you seem like you were part of the crew. Diesel and Natalie are amazing together.  Diesel is living in his car and getting food from a local funeral home when his life changes. He is now involved with the Medina family, working as a hitman. He is doing what he can to provide for his adoptive mother.   Natalie is not only a member of the Medina family but she is the one who gets all the jobs and picks which the family takes. She is the one in charge of everything. When Diesel comes home with her brother, she hates him. But Natalie soon realized that there is a very thin line between love and hate. She realizes that when Diesel is not around she worries about him and misses him.  This is a definite most read.

Blackheart by Jessie Cooke

Blackheart: The Wild Ones (Jokers MC) Author: Jessie Cooke Release: May 12, 2020 Rating : ★★★★ Review:  Evan "Blackheart" and Sally have been friends since they were kids. They love each other but never settled down. Now in their 50s things are coming back to haunt them. Evan has slept around with so many girls. He has proposed to Sally and she has told him no on several occasions. Now that someone from the past has comeback Evan realizes that he is in love with Sally and hates the idea of her not being in his life.  The story is an easy read. You can see that Sally is at her breaking point with the so called relationship she has with Evan. Once she finally decides to move on, that is when he starts noticing that she is his everything. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Revived by Harlow James

Revived Author: Harlow James Release: June 18, 2020 Review: Get you tissue box close by because you are going to need it. This book will have you crying from the very beginning. Luke has been a favorite of mine since Enticed. He has become my favorite book character.  Luke has been a single dad since his wife passed away when their son was only a few months old. When his mom has an accident he has no other choice but to hire a nanny.  Rachel just moved from NYC to start a new life. She is planning to finishing her degree to become a teacher. When the opportunity to become a nanny for a little boy who has already stolen her heart, she takes it. The chemistry is there for Luke and Rachel from the very beginning of the story and so is the guilt that Luke is feeling. He is feeling emotions that he only felt with his wife.  This is the most romantic story I have read.  I love it and know that our loved ones are looking down at us from the other side of the stars.

Kiss to Conquer   Author: Anna B. Doe Release: June 5, 2020 Review:  We all do stupid things when we are in high school but Callie's mistake got someone expelled. Not just anyone but Hayden Watson. Can Hayden ever forgive her for her mistake? Hayden was just a shy skinny kid back in High School when the mistake affect his future and broke his heart. But Hayden isn't that kid anymore. He is now the star wide receiver at Blairwood University.  Now that they are both attending Blairwood, old feeling begin to return. Feelings of guilty, love, and attraction. They both have a past and secrets, they just don't know how connect that past it. Hayden and Callie are great together. This book a great read, I never wanted to put the book down. Also the extra epilogue is amazing.

Three Strikes by Allana Walker

Image
Three Strikes Author: Allana Walker Release Date: June 1, 20202 Review: The beginning of the book was a little hard to take in. She get treated like whore by the male lead. He calls her a whore and almost kills her. However, I continue to read it to see how the book would turn out. It didn't disappoint. Through the book you see both characters fight their demons, while attempting to navigate being parents and having feelings for each other.  The relationship between the characters seemed real. I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes. It is dark and violent but it is enjoyable. The only bad part of the book is the cliffhanger at the end of the book.  BOOK 2 please.
