But then you fall, and everything becomes a mess. You enticed him with your body, but now you want to keep him. The question is, do you have the courage to do so?

Review:

How can a book make me feel so many emotions?

Clara is a very independent women. She doesn't care what other people think. Until that fateful night when her life turned upside down. The all person who was able to get her out of her head is Cooper, the one person who she shouldn't fall in love with. Cooper is her best friend's younger brother, but he is also the one person who makes her feel safe.

Cooper is a cop who just happened to be at the right place at the right time. He saved Clara from living her worse nightmare. However, Clara is not just anybody else, she is his sister's best friend. The same girl he has had a crush on since he saw her at the pool one summer.

The relationship between Clara and Cooper are the best. you feel the tension at the beginning, the love develop in the middle of the story and the heartbreak at the end. This roller coaster is so worth the read and you will love every minute of it.

BLURB

Don’t ever tell your mother that your boss is your boyfriend.
Right in front of him.

Just don’t, trust me.

Hudson Stoll is the grumpiest grump I’ve ever met in my life. He’s never liked me much and calls me anything but my real name. His favorite rendition?
Opie.
My name is Liv, and because my mother is a grade-A pain in the ass who’s always complaining I can’t keep a man, I blurted out Hudson was my boyfriend just in time for my dad’s birthday party.
Didn’t come without consequences.
As payment for my brain-to-mouth malfunction, I’m now Hudson’s personal bitch for the next three months.
No, literally.
I go on coffee runs, order his food, and have to tackle mindless tasks around the parlor. I mow his lawn, trim the bushes, and wash his monstrous Harley. Oh, and let’s not forget listening to him complain about how I’m not doing something right and how I have a big mouth.

Pffft. Takes one to know one.

But throughout my temporary servitude, one thing becomes crystal clear—he’s interested in so much more than me simply getting the job done right. Hudson stares at me like he’s about to devour me in one bite, and I’m no one to judge him because, honestly, I’ve done it plenty of times myself. It’s hard not to when he’s a wall of muscles covered in tattoos.
Don’t even get me started on the beard.
We’re not supposed to act on our “relationship”, though…
It’s not real.
He’s not mine, I’m not his, yet he can’t seem to keep his hands to himself, and I have a problem saying no.

Don’t ever tell your mother that your boss is your boyfriend—because things can and probably will spiral out of control.

And I personally wasn’t ready for the hard fall I took when he found out about the daughter I kept a secret the whole time.
