Author: Kennedy Fox
Release Date: April 21, 2020

Blurb:

Settling down and starting a family is something Diesel has considered, regardless of his one-night stand reputation. However, he just might be single forever since who he wants is off-limits—his best friend’s little sister.

He’s been in love with her for years, but betraying his friendship could ruin everything.

Rowan Bishop is over men, especially after finding out her boyfriend cheated and left her heartbroken. After graduating from college, she’s back home and has to face the one guy who purposely gets under her skin—her older brother’s best friend.

She hates that she’s attracted to him, but she’s willing to fight for who she wants.

Spending time together is a bad idea, but neither can deny the chemistry sizzling between them. Late night talks turn into spontaneous adventures and just when Rowan’s willing to admit how she truly feels, Diesel’s past catches up with him and ruins their picture perfect romance.

One secret turns into another and before either can grasp their new reality, more truths unravel—threatening to expose their forbidden relationship.

Review:

I have read all of Kennedy Fox's books and I have to day this one doesn't disappoint at all. I wanted to know Diesel's story since I meet him in Hitching to the Cowboy.

Diesel and Rowan have know each other since they were small and Diesel has been in love with her ever since. While she finally realize what is right in front of her.

I swear this relationship had me up all night trying to finish the book. The relationship between the them had me smiling and crying. This book is worth every moment.

BLURB

Don’t ever tell your mother that your boss is your boyfriend.
Right in front of him.

Just don’t, trust me.

Hudson Stoll is the grumpiest grump I’ve ever met in my life. He’s never liked me much and calls me anything but my real name. His favorite rendition?
Opie.
My name is Liv, and because my mother is a grade-A pain in the ass who’s always complaining I can’t keep a man, I blurted out Hudson was my boyfriend just in time for my dad’s birthday party.
Didn’t come without consequences.
As payment for my brain-to-mouth malfunction, I’m now Hudson’s personal bitch for the next three months.
No, literally.
I go on coffee runs, order his food, and have to tackle mindless tasks around the parlor. I mow his lawn, trim the bushes, and wash his monstrous Harley. Oh, and let’s not forget listening to him complain about how I’m not doing something right and how I have a big mouth.

Pffft. Takes one to know one.

But throughout my temporary servitude, one thing becomes crystal clear—he’s interested in so much more than me simply getting the job done right. Hudson stares at me like he’s about to devour me in one bite, and I’m no one to judge him because, honestly, I’ve done it plenty of times myself. It’s hard not to when he’s a wall of muscles covered in tattoos.
Don’t even get me started on the beard.
We’re not supposed to act on our “relationship”, though…
It’s not real.
He’s not mine, I’m not his, yet he can’t seem to keep his hands to himself, and I have a problem saying no.

Don’t ever tell your mother that your boss is your boyfriend—because things can and probably will spiral out of control.

And I personally wasn’t ready for the hard fall I took when he found out about the daughter I kept a secret the whole time.
