Take a Chance on Me by Lea Coll

Image
I am in love with this book. Sadie Cole has a reputation of being a liar and manipulator. People in town blame her for what happened in high school. Right after high school, she left the small town to get away from the negative comments and nasty looks. She returns to town when her mother needs her. Small time hasn't changed since she left. It seems that everyone hates her, except her boss and Tanner Green. Tanner Green is new in town. As a single father, his only focus should be his daughter. However, he can't get his daughter's dance teacher out of his mind. However, it seems everyone hates her but he doesn't understand why. She is smart, fun and sweet, not the manipulator and liar that everyone thinks she is. The books is so sweet. It made me cry when Sadie told us the reason for her living town. It is definitely work every minute

The Two of Us by Kennedy Fox

Image
Kennedy Fox does it again During these trying times having a book that expresses all my anxiety and fears is amazing. Cameron is a senior at NYU and leaves the city to get away from the virus. She packs all her belongings and goes to the cabin that her family ones. Elijah has the same idea. He is working from home and because of his asthma. He asks his best friend, Ryan (Cameron's brother) if he can go to the cabin and get away from his roommates. The same roommates who think the pandemic is a joke and are still go out and getting together. Being in the same cabin together has to question there feeling for each other. Feeling that they have had since they first meet as children. Now being stuck in a cabin together, they decide to give in to those feelings. Nothing is going to keep them apart, not a pandemic and not being shot. They are finally together and fight for their happily ever after. A true must read during this Pandemic.

Captivated by Harlow James

Once again Harlow James doesn't disappoint. The Prologue itself has you anxious and your heart racing wondering what is going on. Cash doesn't do relationships or feelings. He is a one nightstand kind of guy. He can control one nightstands and not relationships. The last thing he wants is to be in a relationship that resembles his parents. But Piper has captivated him from the moment he pulled her over on Labor Day and he cant seem to get her out of his mind. Piper is hiding from her past. Never did she imagine she would end up in Emerson Falls and on the radar of the sexiest man in the world. Cash has had her heart beating from the first time they meet on Labor Day. Cash and Piper had me laughing and crying at their story. I didn't want the story to end. Emerson Falls sounds like an amazing place to live and get pulled over by a handsome police officer.
