The Two of Us by Kennedy Fox

Kennedy Fox does it again

During these trying times having a book that expresses all my anxiety and fears is amazing.

Cameron is a senior at NYU and leaves the city to get away from the virus. She packs all her belongings and goes to the cabin that her family ones. Elijah has the same idea. He is working from home and because of his asthma. He asks his best friend, Ryan (Cameron's brother) if he can go to the cabin and get away from his roommates. The same roommates who think the pandemic is a joke and are still go out and getting together.

Being in the same cabin together has to question there feeling for each other. Feeling that they have had since they first meet as children. Now being stuck in a cabin together, they decide to give in to those feelings. Nothing is going to keep them apart, not a pandemic and not being shot. They are finally together and fight for their happily ever after.

A true must read during this Pandemic.

BLURB

Don’t ever tell your mother that your boss is your boyfriend.
Right in front of him.

Just don’t, trust me.

Hudson Stoll is the grumpiest grump I’ve ever met in my life. He’s never liked me much and calls me anything but my real name. His favorite rendition?
Opie.
My name is Liv, and because my mother is a grade-A pain in the ass who’s always complaining I can’t keep a man, I blurted out Hudson was my boyfriend just in time for my dad’s birthday party.
Didn’t come without consequences.
As payment for my brain-to-mouth malfunction, I’m now Hudson’s personal bitch for the next three months.
No, literally.
I go on coffee runs, order his food, and have to tackle mindless tasks around the parlor. I mow his lawn, trim the bushes, and wash his monstrous Harley. Oh, and let’s not forget listening to him complain about how I’m not doing something right and how I have a big mouth.

Pffft. Takes one to know one.

But throughout my temporary servitude, one thing becomes crystal clear—he’s interested in so much more than me simply getting the job done right. Hudson stares at me like he’s about to devour me in one bite, and I’m no one to judge him because, honestly, I’ve done it plenty of times myself. It’s hard not to when he’s a wall of muscles covered in tattoos.
Don’t even get me started on the beard.
We’re not supposed to act on our “relationship”, though…
It’s not real.
He’s not mine, I’m not his, yet he can’t seem to keep his hands to himself, and I have a problem saying no.

Don’t ever tell your mother that your boss is your boyfriend—because things can and probably will spiral out of control.

And I personally wasn’t ready for the hard fall I took when he found out about the daughter I kept a secret the whole time.
