If you have not read Blackheart please do before you read this book. This book begins were Blackheart ended.

Patrice meets Gabriel will he was in the hospital. From the very beginning there was a connection. But things get a little confusion when she admits that Blackheart is her father. When she asks Blackheart if he killed her mother that is when things get interesting.

The story is told from the view point of Patrice, Gabriel and Blackheart. This is definitely a good read.
