Keeping you Away by Kennedy Fox

Keeping You Away
(Tyler & Gemma, Book 1)
Author: Kennedy Fox
Release: July 16, 2020
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Review:

We first meet Tyler in Maddie and Liam's story and I fell in love with him. He put his life on the line to help Liam and Maddie and spent 5 years in jail.

Now he is home in Alabama trying to start over. Back to the girl whose heart he broke when he left. He tries to stay away from Gemma, especially since she is engaged to someone else. He tries to stay distant from his time before Vegas but when he gets the opportunity to put Victoria behind bars he does. Only Victoria has other plans

Tyler was Gemma's first love and once he left, she waited for him to come back. Now that she is finally moved on and is engaged he returns. She realizes that her relationship isn't what it seems and she starts to question everything. Having Tyler isn't helping. She still has feelings for him and is confused. She is confused about her feelings for Tyler and her relationship with her fiancee. As time goes by she starts noticing her fiancee's true colors.

I need book 2 already, I need to know what happens to Tyler and Gemma. Does Tyler get revenge on Victoria? Does Gemma get married? I don't want to wait anymore.

BLURB

Don’t ever tell your mother that your boss is your boyfriend.
Right in front of him.

Just don’t, trust me.

Hudson Stoll is the grumpiest grump I’ve ever met in my life. He’s never liked me much and calls me anything but my real name. His favorite rendition?
Opie.
My name is Liv, and because my mother is a grade-A pain in the ass who’s always complaining I can’t keep a man, I blurted out Hudson was my boyfriend just in time for my dad’s birthday party.
Didn’t come without consequences.
As payment for my brain-to-mouth malfunction, I’m now Hudson’s personal bitch for the next three months.
No, literally.
I go on coffee runs, order his food, and have to tackle mindless tasks around the parlor. I mow his lawn, trim the bushes, and wash his monstrous Harley. Oh, and let’s not forget listening to him complain about how I’m not doing something right and how I have a big mouth.

Pffft. Takes one to know one.

But throughout my temporary servitude, one thing becomes crystal clear—he’s interested in so much more than me simply getting the job done right. Hudson stares at me like he’s about to devour me in one bite, and I’m no one to judge him because, honestly, I’ve done it plenty of times myself. It’s hard not to when he’s a wall of muscles covered in tattoos.
Don’t even get me started on the beard.
We’re not supposed to act on our “relationship”, though…
It’s not real.
He’s not mine, I’m not his, yet he can’t seem to keep his hands to himself, and I have a problem saying no.

Don’t ever tell your mother that your boss is your boyfriend—because things can and probably will spiral out of control.

And I personally wasn’t ready for the hard fall I took when he found out about the daughter I kept a secret the whole time.
