Review:

Maddox is a private investigator in California. When a friend asks for his help in New Orleans to find 2 people that have gone missing he does. What he doesn't bargain for is that he finds someone that makes him feel that connection he had with his wife. Someone who happens to be the daughter of the person he is investigating.

Carmella knows that her dad is not a great guy. She knows what he is involved in but she doesn't believe that he would be capable of kidnapping 2 people. Her cousins on the other hand are very capable. When an investigators starts asking questions, she decides to him. It doesn't hurt that he is gorgeous.

Maddox and Carmella have great chemistry but Maddox is still has feelings for his wife. He feels guilty for not being with them when they died. Carmella understands and is willing to help him understand that it isn't his fault. Really need an epilogue of their relationship 5 years into the future.
